I'm Shelby, the girl behind the camera. I'm a wedding, family, couples, and senior photographer based in Des Moines, Iowa. Born and raised a Husker in small town Nebraska but currently residing in Iowa. After years of thinking about pursuing photography I finally took the leap into making my dream and passion a reality, and man do I love it!

Photography aside, I am a big family person. In March of 2022 we welcomed our beautiful little girl Everly and are so in love. I absolutely love spending time with my husband and daughter, my family and my husbands family. I live for beautiful sunsets, exploring new places, cinnamon rolls, movie nights, coaching volleyball, and of course wine nights with the girls.

This is more than just me taking your photos. I greatly value the friendships and relationships I form through the process of taking photos. For me, I strive to capture all of your real moments. The in-betweens, belly laughs, little kisses, genuine love, and the goofy real moments. I want to capture who YOU are, your family, your kids, your love, your relationship. This is about YOU!!
